What is really your intention

Trying to decide on a new phone or laptop is quite the mission, let alone trying to decide what it is that you really want for yourself. We are inundated with options from every angle, on just about anything and everything these days. Travel destinations, colour choices for your latest outfits, dating sites, bars and restaurants, typing fonts and gym memberships. System overload, and sensory overload! We have so much going on in our lives that we tend to chop and change our wants and desires as often as we check our Facebook feed. Now, this isn't necessarily a bad thing, however the fact that society and businesses offers us "on demand options", has created a disconnection from the process of wanting something, working for it and appreciating the value of that thing, experience or person. Saying that, if we are constantly changing our minds, how can we know what it is that we really want, or what is actually good for us? Focused Intentions. Intention is powerful. Intention has energy behind it. You need intention to drive your wants to become reality. It's like writing a birthday card. There is effort and energy into putting words on a card and giving or sending it to someone. A lot more ENERGY and THOUGHT than typing it on the keyboard and sending an email. The same is to be said for you, and your wants and desires. For anything to come to fruition with what really matters and is important to you, there must be focused, positive and authentic intention behind it. Without those elements you send out mixed messages to not only other people, but to yourself and to the universe. Take for example this common scenario. You are complaining about being fired from your job, which you have been complaining about to your friends and family for the past 6 months, saying "you want to quit; you hate your job and your boss, and you wished they fired you". Well wasn't that your intention? Why are you complaining for something that you actually wished for? You put that out there and you got exactly what you asked for. You didn't like your job and you knew it wasn't right for you. They have actually done you a favour. We do this all the time! It's quite funny really and we don't even realize we are creating our lives as we speak. This is why it is important to be mindful of your words. Words are spoken energy and can never be taken be back. Your thoughts are also energy, and the more you think of something the more energy you put into making that thought a reality. So what is really your intention? Are you conscious of what you are saying and thinking? Are you aware that the situation you are in is due to your previous intentions? Do you know that your current intentions are paving the way for your days and months ahead? If you need some guidance in setting your intentions for what you want then follow these steps. 1. Paper 2. Pen 3. Write down what you WANT in I AM and I HAVE (present tense) 4. Forget what you DON'T want 5. Put love and belief into your words 6. Set goal/dates on when you want this to happen/occur 7. Read over your notes daily/weekly 8. Be mindful of your daily thoughts 9. Say thank you and show gratitude for these intentions Take your time in setting out your intentions. Good and valuable things take time to grow and come to life. There will always be options available to you and it is for you to decide out of those what feels right to you and what you wish to experience. There is never a wrong or right way to what you to decide upon. Follow your heart's desire and what makes you happy, and your intention's and ability to create your goals into life, will begin to manifest a lot quicker because they are coming from your true self and not from a place of fear. Happy manifesting!!!
